Sandalwood Fan Ribs (Fan Bones) - Set of 9

These are sandalwood fan ribs, made from agarwood.
How about using them as craft materials for fans?
My grandfather started a wholesale business of traditional crafts in Nara in 1913.
It's hard to find these at this price.
They sold for a decent price as antiques, but I want to offer them to craftspeople at the lowest possible price.
I don't really recommend them to those looking to simply cash in.
Like traditional Japanese pigments (iwai-gune), I value these as materials for traditional crafts.

There are characters carved on the main ribs. Two types.
- One side characters 大吉羊日 (Great Auspicious Sheep Day)
Opposite side characters 更甲 (Further 甲) and 父工 (Father's Work) x 4 pieces
- One side characters 大昌王 (Great King Chang) and 吉日 (Auspicious Day) - King Chang might refer to Goryeo.
Opposite side characters 永平年月日 (Eternal Year, Month, Day) x 5 pieces

The middle ribs are bundled and tied with thread, so they are unused, but they are old as they have been stored in a barn for a long time.
Although old, the scent of sandalwood remains.

I have listed them as slightly scratched and dirty, but I believe these imperfections will become less noticeable once paper is attached to finish them as fans.
