【Mario Avati】 Blue Leap Painting Interior Art

This is Blue Leap by Mario Avati.

●Mario Avati
Mario Avati (1921-2009) was instrumental in reviving color mezzotint alongside Yozo Hamaguchi.
Mario Avati was a meticulous color mezzotint artist. He created works featuring still lifes such as flowers, fruits, and musical instruments, characterized by black luxury and soft color tones in his color mezzotints. His gradations of light and shadow, achieved by infusing emotion and technique into the burrs created by a rocker on copper plates, garnered international popularity and his works are collected in museums worldwide.
