Vintage British Sterling Silver Horse Head Equestrian Desk Ornament W.H.&Co 2”

Beautiful vintage miniature horse head / equestrian desk ornament featuring a highly detailed sculptural horse profile mounted on a square pedestal base.  The front of the base is stamped with a W.H.&Co maker/sponsor mark and several additional hallmarks, including pictorial and letter punches. The marks are clearly photographed for buyers to review.  The horse head appears to be hollow-formed, making the piece relatively lightweight for its size. The underside of the approximately 2” square base has a dark textured protective covering. Wonderful small-scale decorative piece for an equestrian collection, traditional desk, library, shelf, or vintage silver collection.
